Changelog
This page will list user-facing product changes for CXGear: new capabilities, important fixes, and behavior changes that operators and admins should know about.
It is intentionally a placeholder today so the docs sidebar and URL stay stable while the team starts publishing notes.
What will appear here
Section titled “What will appear here”When entries are added, expect sections such as:
| Kind | Examples |
|---|---|
| Added | New pages, steps, integrations, or plan features |
| Changed | Behavior updates (Records detail, session rules, meters) |
| Fixed | Notable bug fixes that affected day-to-day work |
| Removed / deprecated | Features being retired, with migration guidance |
Entries will be dated and written in the same plain language as the rest of these docs — not only engineer commit messages.
What will not replace this page
Section titled “What will not replace this page”| Source | Role |
|---|---|
| Git commit history | Engineering detail for developers |
| OpenAPI /docs | Live request and response shapes |
| In-app banners | Urgent operational notices |
The changelog is for people running CXGear, not a dump of every internal commit.
Suggested entry format (for authors)
Section titled “Suggested entry format (for authors)”When you add a release, use a pattern like:
## 2026-07-04
### Added- Short description of the capability and why it matters.
### Changed- What operators will notice differently.
### Fixed- Problem that no longer happens.Link to deeper guides when a change needs a full how-to (for example a new Records behavior should link to Opening record detail).

How to get notified (planned)
Section titled “How to get notified (planned)”Future options may include:

- Email to billing or admin contacts for breaking changes
None of those are required to use CXGear today.
