Limits & usage meters

Every CXGear plan includes limits so usage stays predictable. The Billing page shows those limits as usage meters: how much you have used, what your plan allows, and how much is left.

You do not need to guess whether you are close to a cap. Open Billing and read the meters.

Open the user menu → Billing. The Usage section lists each metered resource for your organization.

You need the billing.read permission (included on Admin and similar roles) to view this page.

Every meter answers three questions:

NumberMeaning
UsedHow much you have consumed so far
LimitHow much your plan allows (or unlimited on Enterprise-style plans)
RemainingHow much headroom is left before CXGear blocks the action

When remaining hits zero, the next action that needs that resource is blocked with a clear error. See When a limit is hit.

Typical meters (always confirm on your Billing page — plans can differ):

MeterWhat it counts
ProjectsActive projects in the organization
SpinnersNon-supporting spinners you can publish
UsersActive seats
Data tablesTables you create
API keysActive organization API keys
Jobs / monthSpinner runs started this calendar month
Records spun / monthRows processed this calendar month
Call analyses / monthPost Call Analyzer analyses this month
ChannelsConnected channel providers

Capacity meters (projects, users, tables, keys, channels) go up when you create resources and down when you remove them (subject to product rules).

Monthly meters (jobs, records, analyses) accumulate through the month and reset.

Jobs, records spun, and call analyses reset at the start of each calendar month.

That means:

  • On the 1st, monthly used counters return to zero
  • Unused monthly allowance does not roll over to the next month
  • Hitting a monthly cap mid-month blocks new runs until you upgrade or wait for reset

Capacity limits (for example max projects) do not reset monthly — they stay until you free a resource or change plan.

Exact numbers live on Billing and in Plans overview. Trial details are also summarized in Trial limits.

  • You check Billing before a large campaign
  • Monthly meters have headroom for the jobs you plan to run
  • Capacity meters are not sitting at the limit “just in case”
  • The team knows which meters reset and which do not
